Sreyas.dev — Independent Technology Builder

Building useful things
with technology.

I'm Sreyas — a Computer Science & Engineering student from Bangladesh and an independent builder. I explore software engineering, AI-powered applications, automation and product development — and I enjoy turning half-formed ideas into practical digital experiences.

FixMyCity BD

Bangladesh's civic issues, reported in plain language.

An AI-powered civic infrastructure reporting platform — citizens describe a problem in Bangla, English or Banglish; AI analyzes, categorizes, scores severity and routes it to the right government department. Built for the national hackathon.

02 / What I Explore

Curious about a lot. Serious about building.

/01Software EngineeringStructure, maintainability and the craft of code that survives change.
/02AI & Intelligent SystemsLLM-powered applications, agents — and where automation actually saves time.
/03Automation & IntegrationsAPIs, n8n and glue work that removes repetitive effort from real workflows.
/04Android & Mobile DevelopmentFlutter and native Android — building for the phones people actually own.
/05APIs & System ArchitectureIntegration points and system boundaries that hold up under real use.
/06Open Source & Developer ToolsBuilding in the open, and tools that make a developer's day calmer.
03 / About

Curiosity, compounded.

I'm a CSE student in Bangladesh who reads documentation the way other people read novels — partly for information, mostly for the plot. My work lives at the intersection of software engineering, AI-powered tooling and practical automation.

I don't collect technologies to list them. I pick them up to build something real: a student app people can actually use, an examination system that held up in a live classroom, an AI platform turning civic complaints into tracked fixes. Every project is an experiment that either survives contact with reality or teaches me something only reality can teach.

PROTOTYPING

Agentic workflows with n8n

Chaining APIs and LLM steps into automations that do end-to-end, useful jobs.

Local-first Flutter storage

What to store, how to model it, and how sync should eventually work — without a backend telling you to.

Nothing published yet — deliberately. Good notes are written after something survives contact with reality.

Why offline-first is harder than it looks

Sync conflicts, schema migrations on-device, and the myth of the simple local database.

What a real classroom taught me about software

Notes from shipping SmartCT into an actual examination — and watching it get used.

Designing a civic AI pipeline — Groq, Gemini, Whisper, Zod

What routing a citizen complaint through voice STT, vision and a fallback LLM teaches you about failure modes.
